Using the Dayton Metro Digital Library is easy! If you need help, here's a quick guided tour created by OverDrive, the company that provides downloadable service for us and many other libraries. The guide walks you through the basics, from getting started to downloading to burning to a CD. In just a few minutes, even the newest user can be enjoying a downloaded title.

As the guide is not library specific, there are a few things in it which do not apply to the Dayton Metro Library:

You may have a maximum of 10 titles checked out from the Digital Library.
Downloaded Audiobooks are checked out for 14 days and are automatically returned to the library.
Downloaded Video and Music are checked out for 7 days and are automatically returned to the library.
